Accessibility
We want the Sorted Property Collective website to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboards, magnification or reduced motion settings.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA across the site, and we treat accessibility as part of the build rather than a later fix.
What we have done
- Colour combinations chosen for strong contrast between text and backgrounds.
- Every control, link and filter operable with a keyboard, with visible focus styles.
- Labelled form fields, clear error messages and an announced confirmation when an enquiry is submitted.
- Descriptive alternative text on property photography, and empty alt text on decorative imagery.
- Semantic headings and landmark regions so screen readers can navigate the page structure.
- Reduced motion respected: transitions and animations are minimised when your device asks for that.
- Text that stays readable when zoomed or enlarged.
Known limitations
Some features are outside our direct control. Embedded mapping is provided by a third party and may not be fully accessible, and spreadsheet files are supplied by developers and builders, so their internal formatting varies. Where a map is hard to use, the full location text is always shown alongside it, and our team can describe any package over the phone.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this site gets in your way, please tell us so we can fix it. Contact us on +61 472 969696 or email resi@sortedpropertygroup.com. We aim to respond within five business days and will offer the information you need in another format while a fix is in progress.
